Wrong Binds

Guys,

Can someone give me some tips on how to delete binds.

I was playing around trying to set some and set one on a key that I use for in game play......'R' .

If you look on this thread and follow Hammils instructions on how to make a bind, I guess you can find the bind you have made over there too. Find the bind you have created deleted it and save and I think it should be gone.

I am not sure of this, let me know if it works. Otherwise I will check it out when I get home from work.

Oh yeah before you try this make a copy of the original file in case it doesn't work. That way you can set everything back to how it was.

yes Dig ....... open your COD2 folder. It is found inside the Activision folder in the C drive (or whatever you have your hard drive designated as).
then open the MAIN folder. Then open the PLAYERS folder. And finally open your players nickname folder. Inside there is your cfg.
Open that with wordpad (or notepad) and find the bind key line you no longer want. delete JUST THAT LINE! Then save the cfg and BAM .... your bound key is no longer.

there is also a players folder inside of the ToB folder.
