so seeing as i am celebrating Christmas on Boxing Day (mom had to work Christmas, she's a nurse), me and my dad went to see the new movie Valkyrie... while i will openly admit i absolutely despise tom cruise, i must say this movie was pretty good... if any of you have free time this christmas break, and you are looking for an entertaining movie, i suggest this one... it's like watching the titanic (without the whole sappy love story that goes for 4hrs)... you know the ending, it's just the process of how it all unfolds... knowing a little about the historical side of this movie, i would say it stays (for the most part) very accurate historically... i would not tell everyone in the world to rush out and see it, but if you like historical movies, or you are simply in need of killing time, this movie is a good choice...
if you do see it or are planning on seeing it, try to determine what's unique with the scene when General Beck asks for a gun for "personal business"...
he uses a Colt 45 for suicide, not a typical German issued Luger... just an amusing fact
