Create a ToB icon on the desktop

A) Create a second "Call of duty 2" icon on your desktop: Right click on the one you got already. Say copy, then paste it on the desktop again. And rename it to TOB, by double click the text and change the name.

B) Now right click the TOB icon, and do properties. Goto to tab Shortcut and under target there must be

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\CoD2MP_s.exe" +connect 64.27.1.144:28960

Save it and every time you click on the icon you will be right on the ToB server.

Is there a way to get a ToB icon? Not the CoD icon with the gold star but the ToB Star and Horses icon?

Sure can...download this file (http://www.theoldbreed.com/images/ToB_Coat.zip)...save it to your desktop so you can easily find it...that will place the file ToB_Coat.zip on your desktop...right click on the file ToB_Coat.zip and extract it to your desktop...that will place the file ToB_Coat.ico on your desktop...then go to your current ToB short cut icon...right click on it and select properties...then click on Change Icon Tab...the change icon window will pop up...click the browse button and go to your desktop...select the file ToB_Coat.ico and then click ok...then click apply and then ok and you are done.

Done and Done. Thanks so much Fester. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Now if only there was a way to get rid of that pesky arrow in the bottom left of the icon. I don't think there is though.

Anyway, thanks again. The ToB has always been so helpful.

I followed your directions. When I click on the icon all it does is start COD2 Multiplayer. Any ideas?

Ok, New computer is up and running with W7. COD2 and COD B.O. installed.......

I followed David's directions and I'm unable to paste the shortcut key provided in the properties.....

I KNOW this is nothing but ME messing it up.....Someone either get over here or remote into my computer and help this poor pitiful guy out. :5baby: There's some rear end I need to be kicking in those servers! :)
