PunkBuster kicking you for packet loss

If PunkBuster is kicking you for packet loss it automatically bans you for 10 minutes before you can attempt to rejoin the server again...it would seem that PB is changing the way in which some of there functions are handled...in looking into this I ran across this article that would apply now as the current PB version is 1.520

i was getting kicked alot for that , then i updated , only been kicked once since

I think all you have to do is turn off you Virus and Firewall program while playing COD2 and any other program that looks for spyware.

Sorry, but I almost NEVER turn off my virus and firewall - the only exception is installing large patches (such as SP2 for Windows).

I always IMMEDIATELY reboot afterwards.

Depending upon your configuration(s), your machine can be wide open in ways you don't expect if the security (in general) is turned off.
