I'm looking into buying a boat down in in Ft. Meyers but I'm in Maryland. I know we have some floridians on here. Anyone in or near Ft. Meyers? Ever hear of Marine Dynamics?

Not in Florida, but you might try this:Type Ft. Meyers in Google, find the Better Business Bureau or Chamber of Commerce links and see what they have to say about it. Or, Google Marine Dynamics.

I actually did go to the BBB and they have an unsatisfactory rating. Apparently some guy ordered a boat with 18k worth of dealer installed electronics then backed out at the last minute after the dealer had purchased and installed them. The dealer is holding his deposit until they sell the boat. Seems reasonable to me. I've always expected to forfeit my deposit if I back out of a deal for no good reason. I found a marine surveyor willing to go take a look so I'm covered..
