Black Screen When Connecting

If you attempt to connect to a COD2 server and get a solid black screen when connecting press the shift key and the ~ (tilde key) and the console will pop up and at the bottom of the screen it will tell you what file is causing your problem. Then type "quit" in the console and press enter to exit out of the game. Then go delete the file that was causing your problem!
