all right ive tried it all. 1.3 installed, new ip updated,pb updated,im trying to get on with a shortcut just like i do in cod2 iv set the timeout to 60 and i still timeout. any clue. anyone?

update i tried the ~ connect ip exersize at the multiplayer screen and i still timeout.

try to just ping the server from your computer (not COD4)

go to start - run - then type cmd

type...

ping "server ip" and hit enter (no quotes and just put the IP without the port #)


it should return results without timing out

sorry all, i found out the problem. damn deslexia, get 2 numbers backwards on the ip and it will never load.
