Urinating in Public Question

Ok as most of you all know I am a police officer in Norfolk VA. It is illegal in the city to Urinate in public!!! Go figure, as I assume (we all know what happens when you Assume somthing) it is illegal in most city's, towns and so forth. I could not find if it was illegal in the State of VA. Now I gave a summons to a male the other night for urinating in public, I asked him( Sry Texas folks but, that just happened to be where he was from!!) is it legal for him to urinate out in the public in Texas. He told me that he wasnt sure, but that he thought it was. Now my question is, does anyone know if it illegal or not in Texas, or any other state or location you are from???? I only ask this because I could only find a City ordance code..I could NOT find a code for the state!! This may be one of those wierd laws written or not, but it just made me real curious to know what other states, citys and towns laws are..

LOL as you can tell people do it here too!!!. But man do they get upset when I ask them if they would like it if I were to come to there house and urinate in there lawn!!

In California it is an INFRACTION:
374.3(a) P.C. - UNLAWFUL DUMPING OF WASTE (URINATING IN PUBLIC)
DEFINITION:
It is unlawful to dump or cause to be dumped any waste matter in or upon any public or private highway or road, including any portion of the right-of-way thereof, or in or upon any private property into or upon which the public is admitted by easement or license, or upon any private property without the consent of the owner, or in or upon any public park or other public property other than property designated or set aside for that purpose by the governing board or body having charge of that property. Any person violating this section is guilty of an infraction.


EXCEPT in Bezerkley where anything short of MURDER is legal...

yes it is aginst the law here in OK too, the only thing is, and i know most cops dont care after they write the ticket, but here in OK you are now a sex offender. you are now lumped in with rapisits and the like. so maybe a warning would be enough next time. the news said that 85% of tulsa county was off limits for sex offenders to live. and that means he might have to move just for peeing behind a bar. i know you didnt think about that but it will follow him home and for the rest of his life no kidding!

I would say you are correct. The phrase "or cause to be dumped" pretty much sums it up. So don't tickle me when I hafta PEE...
