Here go to this site It the developers of the CoD4 game and post your errors. Someone will come up with a answer. Go to CoD4 PC section
CoD4:MW PC You will have to register to post. I did find a few thing about the error it looks like it may be the Mod casuing it . You may have to del the Tob Mod folder and let it dlwonload it again. David might have some answers on the error.

It looks like bad code. I'll make the assumption that was in game that happened and not at map change. You may have got a bad download or corrupt file. If this happened in game then when your shooting or a player is shooting at you the system has to determine the trajectory of the bullet to see if it was a kill or not, and it seems a portion of the programming that does this might be corrupt. Try Sgt Choppers Suggestion and i'll see if i can get in touch with one of my friends at AHZ who does scripting and map making ..he is more experienced then i am and will probably have an idea.

an iwd error usually is for the maps themselves which are .iwd, delete everything in your tob mod file and load again, also, if you reember form Cod2, sometimes mods form other sites can interfere with other like maps, so if you have been to other sites, delete, their mod files also, they usally create a folder (like ToB does) in your COD4 file.
good luck.

Actually, it shows at map changes, not very often, but only at changes.
I am going to, as suggested, delete all again (for the third time !! the last deletion, I wiped out all my challenges, which since I only play the sniper server is no big deal.)
And keep fingers crossed. Thanks for all the input.

Andy, I get the same IWD error. When I come back into the game, it's OK. I do not get the other error at all. When I play on other servers and maps are changed I do not get the .iwd error. It just seems associated with our server. As suggested, delet Tob folder and try again, or you might just go ahead and uninstall COD4, and start freash. :icon_frown:

LOL it figures that I would get along with all my other problems, an error that NOONE has ever heard of.

Today am going to remove all mods, and may even do a complete reinstall of COD4. Will let you all know what transpires.
And for David, NO, mod tools were not installed.
Thanks to all again.

continue to have exactly the same problem. It has settled down a little and I also cannot seem to fix it. Started right after 1.5 was loaded. If you ever get it fixed let me know how please.
Thanks Dennisthemenace

Deleted ALL. complete re-install, and all seems to be ok. Lost all my challenges, but no problem, only playing sniper, so really didn't need 'em anyway.

For future reference, probably a good thing to backup your profile by periodically copying the directory to a separate location so you can copy it back in...

with his errors, it was probably best to do a complete dump, who knows where the coding was messed up.

I did a complete uninstall/clean install. Updates, mods, and maps downloaded, don't get .iwd error anymore either. Go figure ????

okay for the future, here is what you do, when you are attempting to get in an dyou get kicked for an iwd error, what that is, is that a map with the same name has been modded by another server or a map that is similar is causing conflicts, (I used to have this all the time in COD2) just go to the map file and move the offening iwd out of the map file. SOmetimes you need to attempt to log in again to get the appropiate map name, just move the named file to your destop, then load the game, you should now be able ot connect cleanly.
After game play you can move the iwd file back in and go to the other server and play fine there.. or just don't play other servers and you won't have any issues at all!

Karl, thought the prob. had gone with new game loads but is hasn't. Only get iwd error when new game loads and tries to activate then says iwd error with no other info. Have deleted all iwd files and will reload as I play and let you know...Art
