misunderstanding [Archive]

Well, I was on the sniper server, and doing a really good job, and people started to accuse me of cheating. This case is very similar to stormtroopers case, and I too would like to appologize for any misunderstanding people had about this incident. A few people spectated me to make sure I wasn't cheating and cleared me, but I feel some people still weren't satisfied. For those of you who weren't, I'm sorry.

Not having the benefit of being on these servers, could someone please explain to me WHO is doing the accusing and why?

I find it hard to believe that a member is making factless accusations. That would leave other regs or random guests.

Both of those groups should be cautioned about accusations of cheating and bring any suspicions to the "in game" members or come to the forum and ask for help.

Is this on the R&G server or on the sniper server?

I personally think that new comers should have NO authority on OUR SERVERS and that people who do this should be banned...

new comers as in not regs or members??? anyway... mix dont worry bout accusations unless they are coming from someone with ToB| tags (not ToD|... ha ha :D)...

i agree with jon.

unlesss the acusations com from a tagged member ignore them-

and i have seen on numerous occasion tagged members asking regs and others who is cheating when someone in the game has said that someone else is either hacking or cheating.

for the length of time this server has been running and the very low % of post in regards to this shows that members do have this under control

It happens frequently on all the servers....

Disgruntled players accuse all and sundry of using a hack or cheating.

As I have stated in another post unless a ToB| member makes a comment you needn't worry.

However it can be very disruptive to the game when it starts.......

In the event I am on, I always warn the accuser.......to stop with the comments and allow me to deal with any issues. Unfortunately if there are no ToB| on......

I totally agree with you Brett, I always ask who's accusing who and of what. Then check scores (its usually 1 with a very low score who is the accuser) then go look at the accused....If its not me :):):)

apparantly there was a slew of nasty little bugger players on earlier today (Crazy Ivan was having a field day) they were accusign you and storm of cheating Dan cleaned house and kicked them.

I accuse XSniperX of cheating all the time... just lastnight as a matter of fact.... But i just do it to watch him get his feathers ruffled HAHAHAHA. That SoaB has that hill on Bog map down to a science....

I have been on the end of a few of these accusations as well MIX, you shoot a guy 3-4 times in a row and sooner or later out comes "NICE HACK SAL" or some variant of it. They are too clouded by thier own high opinions of themselves to see that they are running to or hiding in plain sight most the time.

i agree with rob (Salvanos), some people just accuse cause they are not good, or they are fed up with u killing them....

every time my level 55 is reset... and im level 1... im always accused of hacking... cause i will have streaks of 20-0 with no sweat... like i said before just ignore them unless it is a ToB| tagged member...
