thought this was a section on computers... not religions... and really Christianity is nothing but love (now, the crusades etc. was corrupt power usage) whereas the other religions (majority) still fight... I'm not Catholic, but a Protestant... mother side is all Catholic though... btw... Paul McCartney once said "I worry that religions start wars"... back to computers...

For those who don't Curt, he is like the Borg. He plugs himself in to all of those computers and becomes one with the PC. It's a scary sight but one from which ToB| has benefitted.

Here's my first computer... I learned to program BASIC on it when I was 8 years old. Too bad I never kept up with it. I can program text based adventure games like a madman though...

http://www.theoldbreed.com/picture.php?albumid=27&pictureid=189 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TI-99)

[edit] - I also had the PHP2700 Program Recorder (http://www.mainbyte.com/ti99/hardware/cassette/recorder.html), which basically acted like a disk drive, but used cassette tapes rather than disks. As you can imagine, it took a looooong time to load up code saved to tape. :) Here's a pic:

http://www.theoldbreed.com/picture.php?albumid=27&pictureid=188 (http://www.mainbyte.com/ti99/hardware/cassette/recorder.html)

My original TI99/4a eventually wore out, but I recently picked up another one off of eBay for USD$20! I have the Program Recorder and a bunch of games for it as well. I know... I am a dork. I am proud of my dorkdom though.

E-Dimensional FX Pro 5+1 @ newegg... it's OK, surround sound works better if you don't install drivers which came with a headset... It's my first gaming set, so better get a second opinion
