mod.ff driving me mad again

Hi, hopefully someone can explain this.

Sometimes when i try to go on to the UK server and load the awe mods, i get an error msg saying IW3MP stopped working. It seems that the file mods/awe4/mod.ff is the file that won't load up.

The strange thing is that when trying to load it goes really slow (3kps) and just before loading completely I get the error msg.

1. have tried re starting computer
2. deleting the awe4 folder/ and then trying again
3. restarted the dsl modem

but none of these work.

Uncle Fester did mention someone had forgot to do a fast redirect but I have no idea what that means or whether it is something I should do, or its down to who every is uploading the new maps?

nothing server side has been changed except the maps this has been done loads of times i will have to chat with festy and see what we can come up with

last time i tried to play the UK server... my DL of the mod stalled... so i gave up... i cant help you mate... soz...

happend to me to. i just kept trying to download it and it worked after 7 or 8 attempts. so just keep trying.
