After installing new PSU and a second 8800GT lost my Internet connection. I had it for about 5 min, just enough to go on XFX site and register, but than lost it. On my wifes computer Internet works fine. Had case open again, checked and double checked all connections, reset the FiOS modem with no luck. Will try system restore tonight

sometimes when you install a new cpu you have to reinstall your chipset drivers. Without them your ethernet port is a dead plug. try that first Salaga...Go in and uninstall your chipset drivers and reinstall them either from the manufacturers website or from the origonal disk that came with your motherboard.

CPU is the same Paul, I've changed Power Supply. I think that I may of double tap a wrong driver, while removing old NVIDIA and sound card drivers

alex - before restoring - contact your FIOS provider. They will likely (for free) help walk you through getting the PC reconnected.

I wouldnt mention the hardware switch you did - just say the interent stopped working and see what they say.
