Let me ask...what type(s) of sniper maps do you players really like...close quarter urban or open field, long range...ideas are welcome.

Personally, I have never seen a long long rang sniper map with a lot of foliage. That would be most challenging!

This is only my personal preference.

Don't like too long range like masserone, is hard on the eyes and on my graphics card (I have an older computer)
Mostly I like a map like El aaiun in which there is enough space to hide in and behind buildings, but at the same time you have often more then one angle on almost every spot. This is meanly because the map is big, not in length but in width.

I think Masserone is the quintessential sniper map. Plenty of hidey-holes and extremely long range. Your map, Ols Desert, is the all around best map for both types of players, stalkers and standers. We've also had alot of fun on such maps as Metalheadz Farm simply for the sheer number of headshots you can attain. Simply, do YOUR thing, Mr Ol Sniper. I'm sure NONE of us will be disappointed.

I would like to see some like massarone...perhaps not such an extreme distance.and like Einz said with some foliage...on prb with massarone is you can see allt he runners trying to get to their spots... Also we have a new map some what simular...massacre.. .same prob..can't get to your spot with out being killed.. s a nice lOOng range map with some skill needed to make kills and be killed.
