Greetings,

As many of you know, I was chosen to be a Beta Tester for the new WOW expansion called "Wrath of the Lich King". Well I have been playing and I don't think it will be a disappointment.

I have captured many screenshoots of the new area and additional information. I have posted these on the forums of a website that I maintain. This can be viewed an the following site:

i've been seeing a lot about this game lately.

Even though I'm not a WOW fan, I must say that this looks pretty good, and I'm kinda sorry I never got into the game.

in my opinion it's quite addicting... almost too addicting... it's probably the best MMORPG on the market... followed closely by age of conan and guild wars (free to play)... as for online games its probably the best one that u are forced to pay a monthly fee for... and CoD4 would be the best for free online game... as i said before its very addicting... and some believe its almost too addicting (i know for a fact that the developers, during first stage of developing, brought people in to demo it, and modified it to "suck in" the gamer) my little brother started playing it on my sisters account and got really into it, as did i... it's a great game, dont get me wrong, but i would rather save myself $180 a year and play CoD4 instead...but thats just me...

i agree with thor here it is expensive and it is not very challanging imo i played for a while but i never realy liked it imo... the next game apart from cod5 i am waiting for has got to be diablo 3 :D i cant wait

I am not really into WOW although i tried the demo.I think it's a bit of a rip off that you pay for the game but then you have to pay again a monthly fee to play it.

I bought Star Wars Gallaxies without realising it was a pay to play so i only played it for two months then cancelled the payments.These companies make enough money from us buying their games THEN they wanna charge us more to be able to play them.

I know the servers cost money to run them but i feel thats my right to decide wether i pay or not.I make a monthly donation to the ToB| because i want to not because i'm forced to as the ToB| don't make money as the computer game people do so i think it's only fair for me to help out.

Thats my view on it,although the games are generally quite good,i won't buy them now for that reason.

No offense guys but all I was trying to do is show anyone who was interested in what the new expansion looks like. I know that WOW is not what everyone one likes but I thought there might be a few who were interested.

I play WOW with my wife and friends and we converse over Vent. It is activity that is a bit different than shooting someone. I enjoy all games.

It was not my intention to create a debate about WOW but show some of the unique graphics that this expansion offers.

I know loads of people that are hooked on the game and i'm happy for them.It's just not my cup of tea :)

sorry mate, i will take the blame for the thread drift... i was just describing to mix what the game was like... i know that being a beta tester for WoW is a pretty sweet thing and its awesome that u got the chance... the next expansion pack should be pretty sweet too... soz for the topic drift....

I play WOW. Alleria woohoo! The point behind the $15 a month is that you are recieving new content without having to go to the store and buy it. If you didn't get to the level cap and start to raid, I can see how you would find it not so challenging. Though when I am in the mood for some player vs. player, I go to COD4, when I want a computer opponent to kill with a bunch of online friends....I play WOW.
